"I began practicing yoga 30 years ago when I was living in Templeton. A life long dancer and pilates instructor, I enjoy the stretching, strengthening, the way yoga makes me feel. It became a regular part of my routine ~ Something I looked forward to. And then something else happened... My life began to change in positive ways. My love and appreciation for all things, big and small grew. I felt new peace, newfound clarity. I have learned that the practice of yoga creates a perfect platform to reveal the inner light and beauty that is within each and every one of us.
My passion took me many places to study and practice. I have traveled to take classes from Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Jason Crandall and Rod Stryker to name a few. It is said that to really learn something, teach it. So I took the plunge and became a teacher!!
I love creating classes for all levels. Yoga truly is for every body. And because our bodies continue to change, there are many styles of yoga that take in the needs of each person at all levels and ages. Being a Reiki practitioner, I love to spoil my students with healing hands.
When I am not on the mat, I am taking my practice out into the world ~ Yoga by the shore, ballet dancing, gardening, hiking this pristine county we live in, exploring our beaches, learning to surf, reading endless inspirational books on yoga practice, and I am part of a women's group ~ Girls Going Greater ~ bringing awareness and support to women and children in need on the Central Coast.

  • Restorative Yoga
  • Restorative yoga is practiced to reduce stress, restore health, and move the body in the direction of balance. We will begin with combination of yin poses (deep stretches focused on releasing the connective tissue and joints), Restorative poses (supported with props and held 10- 15 mins), and Pranayama (breath exercise).

  • Stretch & Restore
  • The ideal transition from a busy week into a weekend feeling relaxed and renewed.  This class is focused on relaxation and restoration. We will explore the benefits of gentle yoga poses sprinkled with supported restorative postures. Reset your mind and body melting all tension away.

  • Beach Yoga
  • Join us at Grover Beach for this grounding, all levels practice as we let go of the week and greet the weekend with open hearts and open minds. There is plenty of free parking at the end of West Grand. Walk onto the beach at the end of the boardwalk and you will see us down by the water, off to the right, ready to greet you!
    Please bring a sheet, a firm blanket, and your sense of adventure. Yoga mat is optional.

    Studio class passes accepted or $10 cash drop-in.
