She holds a BA in Communication Arts, English and Theatre Education K-12. As a former public school teacher, Ramjoti's passion is sharing her love of learning with others, especially promoting self-healing and self-discovery. Her teaching style reflects a loving and therapeutic touch and an adventuresome spirit within each class.
In addition to her love of yoga, Ramjoti is a professional tribal bellydancer, specializing in sacred music & dance, something she experiences as meditative, "flow activity." Ramjoti is deeply grateful to her students for all they share with her, and wishes to thank her teachers and mentors who have illuminated her path, especially Mary Beth Nehl, Ann Van De Water and Moonyeen Park . Her life as a teacher and an artist has been profoundly influenced from the start by her parents who taught her by their example the joy of living in service to others. Ramjoti lives in Grover Beach in a petite beach retreat with her beloved companions on the journey, husband, Patrick and feline children, Puck and Oberon.
"Any body can do yoga. It is my intention to empower the individual to enjoy a life in the limitless benefits that yoga has to offer. Finding freedom in my physical body as well as my relationship to thoughts, emotions, and the breath continues to create an experience life beyond my wildest dreams. A freedom that I wish for all, to reveal the teacher within and learn how to work with that."
